The Epitome of Being Hispanic

First of all Merry Christmas to my readers!!!!! and because i am writing this on christmas i believe it is fit for this to be a Christmas memory. When i was 6 the most popular thing to get was the original NINTENDO! yeah technology has come along within the past 13 years. Well every little kid had that stupid duck hunt game. i on the other hand had nothing. So i decided as a kid, i made wonderful decisions back then, that all i wanted was the nintendo. nothing else, I DIDN'T care for other presents just my nintendo. so on Christmas Eve, which for you non-hispanics is when we open presents, we sit down to open our presents. and i see this box addressed to me i was like YES!!!!! i opened all the other presents it was clothes and stuff for my little brother who was born like 22 days ago srsly! so i get to the box. my little eyes well up with tears of excitement and i start ripping the paper. and its a nintendo box! i jump up and scream!!! then i opened the box and ....... there was CLOTHES IN THERE!!!!!!! :'-( so like the 6 year old that i was i threw the box and stomped my way up stairs crying. And not only that i could hear my uncles downstairs LAUGHING at me. My mom came in and asked me what was my problem and i cried telling her that i really wanted the Nintendo. my mom explained to me that we didn't have the money for one. and i sucked it up and went back down stairs. i got the nintendo for my birthday four months later .

First Time I Went Sledding!!!

So i am from Los Angeles, We do have snow but never enuff to do cool things like sledding and stuff like that. so this is my second winter in Utah. this one is considerably colder and more snowy. so this past saturday we decided to go sledding. it was on of the best experiences ever except for when this particular event happened.
Ok so i am gonna sled down this steep hill with this girl that i like. she is amazing . so we sit down on the inner tube and i put my arm around her and pulled her close. then my roommate jason pushed us down the hill. it started like before laughing and smiling but this time is slowly went to getting scared why? you may ask. well we didn't notice that a JUMP was formed at the bottom of the hill.
So here we are about to hit this ramp and I just closed my eyes..... we hit it at about 35 mph that on a ramp with an inner tube isn't fun. we flew about 7 feet into the air! now many things happen while being 7 feet in the air. so we are flying and Her head hits me in my kidney area i go spinning, now i know this because i saw the floor when i looked up. after that all i felt was a crash. it took a good minute for me to look around then i saw her lying still on the floor. first thing that ran through my head was like OH SNAP!!!! so i run over to her, she had a busted open lip and a scratched chin. so i thought man i am gonna have to take her home.
SHE PUTS SNOW IN HER MOUTH WIPES HERSELF CLEAN AND CLIMBS BACK UP THE HILL!!!!!!! oh my goodness. well that was tonights random memory

Stowaway of love??

So this last summer, i dated an awesome girl, i will leave names out of this. heheh. So we are in her car Making out of course no no no no just kidding. So i leave her house on a train all the time. so this time i left my phone in her car.!!!!!! But of course i didn't remember til i was IN THE TRAIN!!!! so here i am trying to get off the train but it starts moving so i am like argh i am screwed!!!! so i ask a fellow passenger to let me borrow his phone i call her and was like "hey Babe, turn off my phone and keep it and give it to me when you get to utah" when i hear turn around.. SHE JUMPED ON THE TRAIN!!!!!
so not only that the POLICE was with her why because she had no ticket. but since i had ridden the train every week i knew the conductor, not that that even matters, he gives her a free pass home. the funny part here too is that she had to pick up her sisters from the BEACH!!!!! so they they are freezing and she is on a train with me. "i need you to have your phone because i will not see you till we get to utah"
man that is a girl worth keeping!! but hey i am going on a mission so have fun guys her phone number is (760) 450 **** yeah not today.

Callejones in LA story

So as youth in Los Angeles i grew up liking the Callejones. the Callejones is a strip of streets in downtown la where you can basically get anything for way cheap. you can get the fake gucci purses and stuff like that. So this one day i go there to buy a turtle. yes it is illegal but i am a small hispanic kid i know not of the legality of my actions ;-). So i buy my turtle and i start heading off. i walk by another turtle vendor, guy looked like on of those mexican guys that are in the movies, straight up nasty and smelled. he turns around and sees me walking away. all i hear is "HIJO DE SU P*** MADRE TRAIGAME MI TORTUGA!!!" basically it mean you son of a ***** bring me my turtle back.
Now growing up in LA has taught me many valuable lessons. the best one though is how to lose an angry mexican in a crowd. yes it's true he CHASED ME!!!!!!! you can imagine this little chubby hispanic running through a crowd. Now one might say where is his parents? well i'll tell you. they were behind the mexican going CORRE HIJO CORRE. no j/k they were in the car waiting for me to get back and that is exactly where i went. My dad ended up explaining to him that it was my turtle that i had bought so it was all good and gravy.
